How many photos can 2TB hold? I could easily answer and say a damn lot! 🙂 But you probably already know that.
2TB does hold an insane amount of pictures and I am going to give you a pretty quick overview into how much photographs it can actually hold.
How Many Pics Can Fit on 2TB?
In the table below, you will get your answer. All the information presented is based off real-world data. The amount of photos that 2TB will hold will depend on a variety of factors such as the size of the photos, the mega-pixel of the camera etc.
Just use this as a guide to get an idea of the storage capacity.

1 MP = 1,000,000 pixels
1MB = 1,000,000 bytes, 1GB = 1,000MB

If you are shooting RAW, then the photos will obviously use more space than the regularly compressed JPG’s. You can expect 2 Terabyte to hold significantly hold less photos.

Just repeating what I had said above, just use this as a guide and not take it as gospel. 2 Terabyte could possibly hold a lot more or less pictures, it really depends on so many different factors.
